On Tuesday 28th May, 2013, the last edition of the Mansfield and Ashfield Echo to be recorded at its Newgate Lane studio was completed. An almost unbroken run of 33 years of regular recordings of the Echo came to an end. Chad had to move to smaller premises and could not provide for us any longer.
We searched the area and were offered accommodation with A Place to Call Our Own Ltd, a charity working to improve the quality of life for families with disabled children and/or special educational needs. Recordings began again in 2014 at our studio in Botany Commercial Centre on Botany Avenue.
