At one point, we had to choose between accommodation offered by Mansfield Brewery and Chad. It was logical that we, as a recorded newspaper, should move in with an organisation with similar aims - and who better than Chad!
Before we moved to Chad premises, the talking newspaper for the Ashfield area had ceased publication, so we were serving visually-impaired people in Sutton, Kirkby and surrounding areas as well as in Mansfield. Chad suggested we change our name to Mansfield and Ashfield Echo, which we did.
